Phone Link for Mac: what to use instead
Phone Link is Microsoft's app for using an Android phone from a Windows PC. There is no Mac version, but you can get the same everyday things on a Mac with a different app.

Why Phone Link is not on the Mac
Microsoft's Phone Link requirements call for a PC running Windows 10, with the October 2022 update or later, or Windows 11, and an Android phone running Android 10 or later. Those requirements leave the Mac out.
What DroidPort does on a Mac

- Calls and media: see ringing and missed calls, silence the ringer, and control what is playing on the phone. You answer calls on the phone.

Setting up DroidPort
- Install the free KDE Connect app on your Android phone.
- Connect your Mac and phone to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Open DroidPort and KDE Connect, then accept the pairing on both devices.
Setup takes about two minutes. The support page has help if your phone is not found.
