The license items are for the direct download. The Mac App Store version is licensed through the App Store.

Open at login, a friendlier license window, and fixes.

  • New: Deactivate now asks before it frees this Mac's seat.
  • New: every button that opens System Settings now comes with written steps naming the page and the switch to turn on.

  • Fixed: the license window is ready for your key the moment it opens.

  • Fixed: pressing Return in Settings now activates your license key, and the key box shows the whole key.
  • Fixed: the License section in Settings keeps its margins and no longer repeats itself.
  • Fixed: while macOS asks about notifications, Settings now says it is waiting for your answer instead of saying they are off.
  • Fixed: exploring the built-in sample device no longer leaves a second DroidPort icon in the Dock.
  • Fixed: the Files delete question now says where the file is removed from.
  • Fixed: if DroidPort is updated just as it opens, it restarts itself once instead of asking you to download it again.

  • Fixed: Report a Bug, Contact Support and every email support link now copy your message and show where to send it, so you can write to me from webmail too. If your Mac has a mail app, one click opens it as a ready email.

DroidPort 1.5.2

Deactivate locks right away, and refusals are checked too.

  • Deactivate now locks DroidPort on this Mac the moment you click it.

  • Messages now tells you when your phone is not sharing its contacts, with a Try Again button.

  • Pick an accent color: Default, your macOS System color, or any Custom color.

  • Settings rebuilt in a cleaner, easier-to-scan layout.
  • Menu bar popover polish: calmer, more readable buttons whether or not the popover is focused.
  • Messages: the in-conversation search box keeps focus while you type, and opening a conversation now marks it as read automatically.
  • Files refinements, plus smaller visual touch-ups throughout.
