Privacy Policy

DroidPort is built so your phone data stays between your Android device and your Mac, over your local network.

Effective August 23, 2026

The short version

SKJ APPS does not collect, sell, rent, or use your messages, notifications, contacts, clipboard contents, photos, files, call information, media activity, or device content for advertising or analytics. DroidPort has no account system and no DroidPort cloud service.

How DroidPort processes data

When you pair a device, DroidPort communicates directly with the KDE Connect app on your Android phone over your local network. Features you choose to use may transfer messages, notification content, contacts, clipboard contents, files, photos, call status, media information, and basic device status between your devices.

That information is processed on your devices. Some content may be cached or saved locally on your Mac so the feature works. Examples include received files, message attachments, contact names, notification icons, and your app preferences. This content is not sent to SKJ APPS.

Permissions and choices

DroidPort only uses system access that supports features you choose, including:

  • Local Network to discover and communicate with your paired phone.
  • Notifications to show phone alerts on your Mac when enabled.
  • Files and folders when you send, receive, save, or import items.
  • Clipboard when you explicitly send or apply clipboard content.

You can turn off individual features or unpair a phone at any time. You can remove DroidPort's locally stored data by uninstalling the app and deleting its app data through macOS.

KDE Connect and external links

DroidPort interoperates with KDE Connect, an independent open-source Android app. SKJ APPS is not affiliated with or endorsed by KDE. KDE Connect and any websites you choose to open from DroidPort are governed by their own privacy practices.

This website

droidport.app does not include advertising pixels, behavioral analytics, or tracking cookies. Like most hosted websites, its infrastructure provider may process basic request information such as IP address, browser type, and security logs to deliver and protect the site.

Changes and contact

If DroidPort's data practices change, this policy will be updated before the change applies. Questions about privacy can be sent to support@droidport.app.
