DroidPort Customer Agreement (End User License Agreement)

This Agreement is a legal agreement between you and SKJ APPS, the developer and licensor of DroidPort for macOS.

Last updated: September 2, 2026

This Customer Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("you" or "Customer") and SKJ APPS ("SKJ APPS", "we", "us", or "our"), the developer and licensor of the DroidPort application for macOS ("DroidPort" or the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using DroidPort, you agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

1. Who this Agreement is between

The App is licensed to you, not sold, by SKJ APPS. SKJ APPS retains all rights not expressly granted to you in this Agreement.

Where you obtain DroidPort through a distribution marketplace such as the Setapp Marketplace or the Mac App Store, that marketplace and its operator are your point of purchase and provide the download to you. Section 4 explains the role of Setapp in more detail.

2. License grant

Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, SKJ APPS grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use DroidPort on Mac computers that you own or control, for your own personal or internal business use. Your license is for the number of installations permitted by the marketplace or plan through which you obtained the App.

3. What you may not do

You agree that you will not, and will not permit anyone else to:

  • copy (except as needed for normal installation and backup), sell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, or otherwise transfer the App or your license to any third party;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the App, except to the limited extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
  • modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the App;
  • remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices in the App;
  • use the App to break any law, to infringe anyone's rights, or in a way that harms or attempts to gain unauthorized access to any device, network, or data.

DroidPort works together with KDE Connect, an independent open-source Android app that is not made by SKJ APPS. Your use of KDE Connect is governed by its own license and terms. SKJ APPS is not affiliated with or endorsed by KDE.

4. Purchases through Setapp (merchant of record)

If you obtain DroidPort through the Setapp Marketplace operated by MacPaw ("Setapp"), you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Setapp acts as the merchant of record for that transaction and is authorized by SKJ APPS to deliver and distribute the App to you and to grant (sublicense) to you the license described in this Agreement on SKJ APPS' behalf;
  • Setapp is authorized to sublicense DroidPort to you in accordance with the applicable Setapp Developer Agreement (including sections 5.d, 5.f, and 5.g of that agreement), and this Agreement governs your use of the App once it has been delivered and sublicensed to you through Setapp;
  • Setapp (and its payment provider) handle your purchase, billing, and account information as an independent controller under Setapp's own terms and privacy policy, and questions about billing, your Setapp plan, or refunds for a Setapp purchase should be directed to Setapp.

The same principle applies to any other marketplace you use: your purchase, billing, and refunds are handled by that marketplace under its terms, while your use of the App itself is governed by this Agreement.

5. Ownership and intellectual property

DroidPort, including its software, design, text, graphics, icons, and the "DroidPort" name and logo, is owned by SKJ APPS and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. This Agreement gives you a license to use the App; it does not transfer any ownership to you. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by SKJ APPS.

DroidPort includes open-source components (including Apple's swift-crypto, swift-certificates, and swift-asn1) that are provided under their own licenses. Those licenses continue to apply to those components, and nothing in this Agreement limits your rights under them.

6. Updates

SKJ APPS may release updates, bug fixes, and new versions of DroidPort from time to time. Updates are normally delivered through the marketplace you bought the App from (for example the Setapp Marketplace or the Mac App Store). Updates may add, change, or remove features. This Agreement applies to any update unless the update comes with its own separate terms, in which case those terms apply to that update.

7. Privacy

DroidPort is built so your phone data stays between your Android device and your Mac over your local network. How the App handles data is described in the DroidPort Privacy Policy at https://droidport.app/privacy, which is part of this Agreement by reference. Please read it.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DroidPort is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. SKJ APPS disclaims all implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. SKJ APPS does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error free, or fully compatible with every phone, network, macOS version, or KDE Connect version, or that every message, notification, file, or transfer will always be delivered.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you. Nothing in this Agreement affects any statutory rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SKJ APPS will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, messages, files, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use DroidPort, even if SKJ APPS has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of SKJ APPS for all claims relating to DroidPort will not exceed the amount you actually paid for the App in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or, if you obtained the App as part of a marketplace plan or bundle, a reasonable amount attributable to the App.

10. Termination

This Agreement and your license last until terminated. Your license ends automatically if you break any of its terms. You may end it at any time by deleting DroidPort and stopping all use of it. On termination you must stop using the App and remove it from your Mac. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive.

11. Changes to this Agreement

SKJ APPS may update this Agreement to reflect changes to the App or to legal requirements. When we make a material change, we will post the updated Agreement at https://droidport.app before it takes effect. Your continued use of DroidPort after an update means you accept the updated Agreement.

12. Governing law

This Agreement is governed by the laws applicable at SKJ APPS' place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.
